Then by placing it on the water surface, we will observe that the boat is floating on the water surface. WHY: This happens because of Newton’s third law of motion Newton’s Third Law of Motion (law of reciprocal actions) states: “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction” i.e. Action and reaction are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. Here the motion of the fan cuts the air which creates a force on the back side and this force the car to move forward. Hence the car moves. Now by placing the car on the water surface, you will observe that the car becomes a boat and it floats on the surface of the water just like a sailing boat. So your car becomes a boat. Here the boat floats because of the thermocol as it is light in weight, and moves forward because of the motion of the fan. similarly like that of the car. So go on enjoying your air car boat.
